What we think of birth mothers

This photo symbolizes so much for me personally. We feel so strongly that the windows of heaven have been opening up to us and we are going to be blessed by adoption.
This picture depicts a beautiful mother and one that loves her child dearly, she is angelic and beautiful. This is how we see our birth mother and birth family wherever they are. I love this quote:

He is mine in a way that he will never be hers,

yet he is hers in a way that he will never be

mine, and so together, we are motherhood.

~desha wood"

this depicts so perfectly the relationship that we look forward to having, that we know and respect and even honor this process.

A Long time coming....

I am amazed at how time has flown by since we have started the long road of infertility. You grow up just knowing that one day you will have a family, you never picture that road being so long and enduring and possibly a dead end that can only be opened back up by the Savior. I am waiting to find out if our last procedure that we can afford financially had or hasn't worked. I am tierd and saddened that even the doctors are saying this isn't working, if this doesn't work then you need to do IVF a 12,000 dollar chance at getting a baby. I wish with all my heart that money wasn't an issue, but it is, because we have taken lots of financially chances to get pregnant and it hasn't worked. But I know in my heart that Heavenly Father has a plan for this little Lowder family which consists of Me, hubby Travis and our Dane puppy. I know it will all work out the way it is suppose to and according to our Heavenly Father's will and his plan has proved so far to be much more beautiful than my own. But this post isn't about the infertility journey we have faced, this one is about DANE My heart is so full with love for this puppy of ours and I know he is a special gift to me and Travis at this time. I have always loved dogs and have had amazing experiences with each of them. But Dane is and will always hold a very special place in my heart. He is the closest thing we can get to child these days and he does a darn good job of being the best puppy he can be. I know many people are sickened by how Dane is such a loved member of our family but this is what we love about Dane:
The other ones we haven't been able to get on here Dane can drink out of a park water fountain When Travis is practicing hitting baseballs Dane is a big helper and glady fetches them for him He is the cuddliest puppy we have ever owned he plays redicilous games with us such as bubble popping, dress up, balloon popping, fireworks, park, swimming, birthday parties, movie time and so much more. I am so thankful for my love for animals and I am so grateful for Dane in our lives, we will always consider him the first memeber of our family because he truly has helped us along this journey. WE LOVE YOU DANE BOY and HAPPY 2 year BIRTHDAY!!!!

Travis and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary. It was Incredible! we went for a scooter ride..had family pics taken...went up to Westgate and the nice guy upgraded our room to the Presidential Suite! Which was amazing and then we went to eat at Ruth's Chris. YUMMY. My wonderful husband and I had an incredible weekend and he made me the most yummy breakfast. I sure do love him and appreciate all that he does for me! I can't believe it has been two years and it is only going to get better!

HAWAII

We had the opportunity to go to Hawaii this summer and it was amazing. We went with the Lowder family as well. We went snorkeling, surfing, hikes, swimming,Luah and much more. It was AMAZING! We had some scary experiences out there as well. We saw a local get beat up and the Lowder boys Travis, Ben, and Brian and Dan all jumped in to try and help. It was awful to witness. One of the tourists got hit by a wave from the ocean and knocked into a blowhole days before we went to see the blowhole. When we went snorkeling we saw tons of turtles and had to try and move out of there way because they got so close! It was awesome food, company and location we feel blessed to have been so spoiled this year to go on a cruise and to Hawaii!!
